In his work Ramon examines differences between observation, gaze, appearance of/at things. He uses media technology to solve certain problems, to run things or to present content more precisely. The blackbox as a system that can be used and observed even when the hidden logic behind isn’t understood, as well as the certainty that understanding is always associated with a temporal investment of time, is an important part of his work. He uses various materials from aluminum to clay from screens to smartphones, and often works with Arduinos and Processing. In the Critical Media Lab he would like to develop better skills in electronics.
